About Us
“Manufacturing is more than just putting parts together. It is coming up with ideas, testing principles and perfecting the engineering as well as final assembly”
– James Dyson

Why we stand out
We understand that design and engineering will always require a collaborative approach. Whether this is between Twenty20 and our clients, or Twenty20 and our trusted network of precision manufacturers.
We blend a diverse skill set to overcome the engineering challenges with creativity, practicality and ingenuity. We ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of the project, to ensure our clients benefit as quickly as possible.

What we create
Twenty20 Engineering produces designs that suit the client’s needs and are practical for manufacture. Utilising a unique blend mechanical engineering and industrial design and using our established, visual workflow we are able to effectively manage the process of design from the problem identification to manufacture.
Working systematically, we become a compatible part of our client’s organisations, overseeing smaller project phases or providing full development and solutions.

Why we do it
We love helping people and organisations with new, novel challenges see their designs come to life. Twenty20 Engineering relishes rising to the challenge that our clients give us, and seeing it through our workflow to completion.
Nothing makes us happier than the knowing we designed and manufactured it, so it could be used by you.

Our Team
Our founder and director is Tom Green BEng(Hons) IEng. Before setting up the company Tom worked as an engineer within the hydrographics industry primarily involved with pre-construction surveys for offshore wind farms.
Although mainly involved with the installation and maintenance of variety of survey sensors on company vessels. Tom was also solely responsible for the design and manufacture of LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems) for towed and ROV equipment, in the harsh and dynamic offshore environment.
More Recently Tom has worked with the building services and construction industry, designing and manufacturing high end, bespoke internal acoustic partitioning systems for the office fit out market. These items have to be aesthetically pleasing, easy to build and meet the high acoustic ratings demanded by the architects and main contractors. No two projects have been the same, requiring flexibility, creativity and ingenuity to meet the exacting and precise timelines and expectations of the clients, within the build environment.
Engineering of any have always been a passion for him.
